The trophies awarded to winners and the tournament trophies themselves are amazing. But the NYC Karatedō International Championship Tournament actually awards more medals than trophies!
Every Round, a Medal
Every round of every event awards a round winner medal to whomever wins that particular round. Since each event (Kata, Kumite, Tameshiwari, and Karatedō) have three rounds each, that means an amazing number of medals are awarded in both days of the tournament.
Each event has its own medal design, and the same medals in those events are awarded to both kids and adults, making for an exciting competition.
Here's a look at the medals:

Haven't Registered Yet? Do It Today!
Every event has limited registration (and limited spectator tickets). No tickets are sold on the day of the events, nor is same-day registration permitted. The NYC Karatedō Championship also limits registrations in all the events, and some events are actually more limited than others to ensure enough competition time for everyone and guarantee a smooth-running tournament.
You Can Still Register! Space is limited and some events are already full. Spectator tickets are very limited.

Unlike mass-market tournaments, the competition field is kept small and exclusive. Be a part of the premier karatedō tournament that everyone talks about the rest of the year!
Please note that competitor registrations are always limited in order to keep the tournament the exclusive karatedō event that is has grown to become. There are absolutely no registrations on the day of the event; we expect all spectator tickets to be sold-out the day of the event itself.
