The NYC Karatedo International Championship is an annual traditional karate tournament that celebrates the four fundamental pillars of karate:
- kata (forms)
- kumite (sparring)
- kihon (fundamental techniques)
- karatedõ (philosophy, concepts, and thought)
One of the few traditional karate tournaments held every year, the 2026 edition of the NYC Karatedō International Championship Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 24th, 2026 and Sunday, October 25th, 2026 in Midtown Manhattan.
Competitor information, including rules and schedules, will be released throughout 2026, with competitor registration and spectator ticket sales commencing in June 2026.
